couch patatas

it's been a while since i last wrote an entry...i have been busy either being a couch potato or job hunting. hahaha! based from my experiences, here are...

the pros and cons of being a couch potato:
- waking up anytime
- having to sleep anytime (no curfews whatsoever)
- watching anything you like may it be on tv or dvd
- sound tripping til the wee hours of the morning
- eating anytime and anything you want that's available and edible
- surfing the net, ym-ing anytime
- getting some zzz's in the middle of the day
- going anywhere as long as you have the resources
- katamaran
- it can be boring at times
- gaining some weight because of the kain-tulog-nood tv cycle
- being a little bit useless kasi parang hindi na rin gumagana utak mo
- feeling mong nagiging palamunin ka na

the rants and raves of job hunting:
- the feeling when someone calls you and tells you that you have been scheduled for an interview or an examination and go on with the application process
- imagining good things about your future if you were working for that company (yung tipong pag maganda yung office tsaka yung building tapos yung mga nakikita mong tao parang ok...gets niyo naman siguro to..)
- being able to get a call back that you have passed the exam/interview and is scheduled for another interview with the department head or someone who has a higher position from the one who first interviewed you
- having to wear business attire and heels on a hot day (and your feet's gonna ache after walking and walking and walking...)
- the waiting time is much longer than your actual interview
- that the position or the work that would be given to you didn't even match your criteria (basta, may mali kaya it's either you say no or they say no...)
- big decisions that had to be made
- yung pagod after that long day of passing resumes and finding their offices

i know there are a lot more of the pros and cons and rants and raves from others (share them to me...i think i can relate...). i think i prefer being more of a couch potato (who wouldn't? hehe! how i wish i can turn back the time to my happy high school/college days...) than finding a job. it's hard making decisions especially when it already involves your future. if only decisions are easy to make...well, decisions getting harder are signs that we are growing up...or is it growing old?

but as of the moment, i'm somewhat into the hype of the "graduation fever" (hahaha!). it's gonna be this feb. 19 (saturday) and...

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2nd Term SY 04-05 Graduates!!! *woohoo!*
